"6 White has been working hard on their "Kids in Space" projects over the last few weeks... They have decided that the best way to build a habitat on the moon is to use a team of Rovers who are able to utilize the raw materials already found on the moon and 3D print a habitat. To do this they have followed the process of Empathise (who needs our help), Define (what is the problem exactly), Ideate (how many ideas can we come up with to solve the problem?), and right now they are up to the prototype stage (then there is the test and Review stages to go). Prototyping involves the students working in teams with the Makers Empire software to design a 3D model of a moon rover with a specialized job in our newly established 3D design zone in the middle school STEM lab."
